Members of the European Parliament are elected every five years by a system of proportional representation across the whole East of England region. There are currently three Conservative MEPs in the East of England who look after our interests in Brussels and Strasbourg. They are Robert Sturdy, Geoffrey Van Orden and Vicky Ford.
